Behind TheMyndset

nat caesar

Hey there! I’m Nat, the Pinterest-obsessed brain behind TheMyndset. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering who’s going to be steering your Pinterest strategy to success.

My creative journey kicked off in 2014, when I worked as a professional graphic designer specializing in Branding Design for clients. After a few years, I found my sweet spot in mockup design and went all in. It was an incredible ride as some of the biggest branding studios and well-known logo designers ended up using my mockups.

As I was growing my freelance career, I stumbled into the world of SEO. And the rest, as they say, is history.

My journey with Pinterest marketing started back in 2019, when I decided to test the waters with my very first niche site. In just three months, I had my site approved by Mediavine (yes, the holy grail of bloggers!). You can even dive into all the juicy details over in my health site case study.

But like any good digital story, there were plot twists. After a Pinterest algorithm update (a.k.a. the infamous Pin Shuffle update), my traffic basically fell off a cliff. I decided it was time to hit pause on Pinterest…Well, I hated them at that time and decided to focus on Google SEO instead. Six months later, armed with more knowledge, a little humility, and a lot of stubbornness, I returned to Pinterest. And this time, smarter. I shifted gears, focused on less sensitive niches, and managed to resurrect a dead site to 350,000 monthly clicks in 5 months. Honestly, Pinterest was that “easy” back in 2020-2022.

In January 2021, I sold that site, took the profits, and did what any digital marketer dreams of: I built my own agency. I carefully handpicked a team of rockstars who now help me deliver top-notch results across a range of Pinterest services. By 2023, I officially opened my services to clients who wanted to crush it on Pinterest.

I also started casually sharing my Pinterest wins (and a few lessons) over on X. Thanks to that, I connected with an amazing group of business owners and closed over 10+ Pinterest marketing service clients.

Fast forward to 2024, and one of my fashion niche sites hit over 1 million outbound clicks with a 4% click-through rate; proving once again that the strategies I teach and implement are battle-tested and Pinterest-approved.
