Speeches:
Trained as a public speaker in North America, Minter Dial delivers customised speeches, in English, French and Spanish and adapted to the European markets. He has spoken at over an hundred events with anywhere up to 10,000 people in attendance. In his last role for L’Oréal, he was a speaker at major conferences around the world. He can now be hired to speak and motivate audiences on topics covering four areas: the arrival of the internet and what businesses need to do adapt to the new environment; the expectations of the new consumer with an eye to becoming more customer-centric; branding in the new era–what marketers need to do to be more in tune with their customers; and four motivational speeches that are designed to inspire and unleash untapped energies. Here are three examples of speeches:
1/ Putting the Y into the heart of your organisation — Why, what and how to make a winning brand today. To be a successful brand today, you need to find ways to engage not just your customers, but your employees. A brand needs to give meaning to all its stakeholders — not just value to its shareholder. The key resides in learning to bring the personal into the professional sphere. In this speech, Minter looks at a series of questions: how does one galvanise the team around the brand? How does one make the organisation truly client centric? How does one facilitate brand advocacy amongst your clients? It all starts with putting the “why” at the centre of your organisation.
2/ How to drive a brand in the digital space. For companies that want to know what is — and will be — going on in the internet and on smart phones, Minter looks at the leading edge trends around the world and brings them to life with concrete examples of how a company can take advantage of these new technologies. Minter presents the 5 key ingredients of how to create a successful digital strategy, including what it takes to create the right internal company culture and to ensure that the personality of the brand is appropriately expressed through the digital media.
3/ The Last Ring Home is a personal story of inspiration and why it is important to find meaning in one’s daily life. Minter uses the leitmotif of the journey of his eponymous grandfather’s USNA Annapolis ring to wind a story which starts in the early 1900′s and ends in the 21st century. Through this story, in light of today’s rushed world, he brings home to bear key life-learnings which can be applied to businesses and personal lives alike.
